Rinzing Lama, PhD

He is an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management, An Autonomous Body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. He is a Masters in Tourism Management from Banaras Hindu University and PhD degree from Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Kurukshetra University on “COMMUNITY BASED TOURISM DEVELOPMENT” – A Case Study of Sikkim. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. He also has 2 year industry experience (1 year TCI, Travel Corporation of India now Thomas Cook and 1 year TAAS, Travel Agents Association of Sikkim). He is the first UGC, NET/JRF holder in Tourism from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
